William Raymond Petty, Jr., 65, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, in Mt. Olive, Illinois.

“Randy” was born to William Petty, Sr. and Barbara Petty (nee Baker) on November 18, 1960, in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Randy was a car enthusiast and enjoyed fishing and camping. He especially loved “tinkering” and could fix anything and everything!

Everyone knew that they could count on Randy. He will be greatly missed.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Barbara Petty; and grandparents, Delmar and Bertha Petty.

Randy is survived by his brother, Keith (Barb) Petty; sister Lisa (Todd) Petty, and nephew, Keith Petty, II.
