Wilma Ruth Powell

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Jesse M. Powell Jr., and Roy E. Powell; her parents, Hollis & Gladys, nee Williams, Davenport; her three brothers, Hollis Davenport Jr., Ben Davenport, Edwin (Ethel) Davenport ; a half-brother, Frank Reeves; and her sister, Nina (Herman) Lewis.

Surviving are her loving husband of 64 years, Jesse Powell Sr., whom she married on December 27, 1948; her daughter, Barbara Hilderbrand; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Beth Davenport; and many brother & sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Lake View Funeral Home.

Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
