Wilo "Billie" B. Stout

Billie was born July 29, 1931 in Haleyville, AL to John Thomas and Ivy (Williams) Southerland. She married her dearest James "Jim" Stout on February 16, 1958. He survives and resides in Columbia, IL.

Also surviving to honor her legacy is her "chosen family", Colonel Richard, Sandra Stonestreet, their daughter, Megan and family. Also surviving is her brother, Larry Southerland of North Little Rock, AR. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jimmy, Wallace, Boyd, Doris and Tomesene.

Billie worked for 32 devoted years at Barnes-Jewish Hospital as a medical technologist. She was an Eastern Star Mason and devoted to her Baptist faith. Billie enjoyed listening to Dr. Charles Stanley on Sunday mornings. She loved to spend time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, alongside her beloved husband, Jim. They enjoyed traveling out West and making countless memories. Simply reflecting back on the adventures and stories brought her endless joy in recent years. Jim was her world, along with her cherished "chosen family". She was a one-of-a-kind lady who will forever live in the hearts of those she loved.

Private family services will be held under the direction of Lake View Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.
