Alice Ethel Weisbarth (nee Krach), age 90, passed away April 9, 2020 in Westlake, OH. Beloved wife of Edward J. Weisbarth (deceased), married 64 years. Loving mother of Dr. Richard (Pamela), Ronald, Raymond (Allison) and Robert (Cheryl). Caring grandmother of Tyler, Kristen Hancock (Trey), Catherine Bolin (Cameron) and Alexa. Great-Grandmother to Reagan. Cherished sister of Margaret Satmary (Eugene) (both deceased), Kathleen Koster (Bud, deceased), and Bertha Ann Sturm (Clarence). Alice was born April 8, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to Anthony and Bertha Krach.
She was a devout member of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church in Fairview Park and was involved in many church activities. For many years she volunteered for Fairview Hospital by knitting hats and booties for newborn babies. She also enjoyed watching Cleveland sport teams, playing the piano, polka dancing, baking cookies and playing cards such as Bridge and Pinochle.
Interred at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on April 15. The family will receive friends at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126 on Thursday, June 18 between 3 pm and 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Angela Merici Catholic Church, 20970 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126 on Friday, June 19 at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, any memorial donations can be made to: Cornerstone of Hope and/or Hospice of the Western Reserve.
