BARBARA ANN FRANCIS (GREENE), age 80, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018. She was surrounded by family and friends. Loving mother of Cynthia, Jenifer (Debi), Sally Bero (Ron), Robyn and Aimee; loving nana of Lori, Samyntha (Skylar), Abby, Tom, Jessica, Melissa, Phillip, Chris, Jackie (Bobby) and great-nana to Christian, Caleb, Bobby, Austin, River and Veronica Sky. She is a loving aunt, cousin and friend to many. She will be missed deeply.

Barbara was born in Toledo to Tom and Lola (Walby) Greene. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Toledo. She received her nursing degree from Marymount School of Nursing in Garfield Heights. She worked as a nurse helping countless people until she retired in 2002. She battled with RA and other ailments but you would never know the pain she felt, as she was always smiling and positive. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and the many other children in her life. She was full of love that she needed to share, and she did. She would want you to hug each other and love each other.

Dearest Cindy, Jenifer, Sally, Robyn and Aimee. Your mom was a beautiful lady inside and out, always had a smile and hug for everyone. She would want you to celebrate her life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. May God grant you strength and peace.

"Francis's" - That's what I would tell my mom when I was little and I wanted to go out and play, "I'm going to Francis's". So many childhood memories are attached to all of you and they have always been held close to my heart. I always thought your mom was so beautiful, inside and out. She was always sweet to me and I remember visiting as I got older, long after we'd moved away - and we would sit in the back room of the house (On Hoertz Rd) and many times she would give me advice on different things that we discussed. Treasured memories. So I just wanted to let all you girls know how sorry I am about the loss of your mom. Though we lost touch through the years, "the Francis's" will always bring a smile to my heart from SO MANY cherished memories.

Dear Cindy, Jenifer, Sally Ann, Robyn and Aimee,
So many memories of your Mom! Love her so much! We kind of lost touch as we grew older, but she never left my heart. I'm sure she went express right to Heaven and is at peace!
I wanted to be there today in person, but I guess this will have to do. Wasn't sure of the drive alone.......everyone is working.
Please take good care of yourselves and know that God is holding you in His hands as you go through your sorrow.

Sending love, hugs, prayers

Barbra Ann and my Mother Barbra Karst were best friends, Here wonderful daughters and myself and my three incredible sisters all grew up together and remember many family trips and together s. She was huge part of my parents adult lives and she was so supportive of my father Thomas Karst when my mother Barb passed away. Then again when My dad passed away very unexpectedly September 4th 2016.
Barbra was a petite woman but huge in presence and stature. I have huge thanks in heart for her friendship to both of my parents and for her kind words and hugs when my parents died. :-(
Loving memories will be treasured forever.
Thank you Barbra please say hello to my parents for me
May God be with you and Tom and Barb Karst up in heaven.
