Cathleen Moloney (1922-2018) (nee Foos), age 95, known as Cass by friends and family, passed away on November 25, 2018. Cass was born November 28,1922 in Baltimore, Maryland to Fred and Sadie Foos. She was one of eight children. Her father owned Fred Foos Candy Company, a long-time staple in Baltimore. She would tell stories of the candies her dad would make well into her years. Cass married Frank M. Moloney in 1942. She worked during WW2 at the Bendix plant making air brakes for the war effort until they started their family. In 1953, their young family moved to Fairview Park. She spent her time taking care of her family, making friends and always being in the know! After her children grew and Frank retired they spend 13 winters in the warmer climate of Corpus Christi, Texas close to her oldest son and granddaughters. She loved the condo where she collected seashells, sand dollars and friendships. She enjoyed creating cross-stitch pieces for her family that are proudly displayed in their homes especially around Christmas! As she grew older becoming a grandmother then a great-grandmother you could always count on her sending the kids home with a sweet treat or a little toy she picked up just in case you stopped over. Her home was a gathering place for friends, neighbors and family where every guest was welcomed and celebrated. Cass joined the Roman Catholic Church at the age of 92.
