Clayton graduated from Westlake High School and proudly served in the United States Navy. A devoted family man, Clayton was also an ultramarathon runner, youth wrestling coach, and lifelong dog lover. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending his retirement kayaking and walking his dogs.
Clayton is survived by his son, Jason; daughter, Emily Simmons (Joseph); and granddaughters, Sophie and Tessa.
Visitation will be held at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home in Fairview Park on Tuesday, September 22, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Immediately following the memorial, friends and loved ones are invited to join the family at the Fairview Tavern to continue celebrating Clayton’s life and sharing memories.
