Edward John Weisbarth, age 92, passed away February 26, 2020 in Westlake, OH. Beloved husband of Alice E. Weisbarth (nee Krach), married 64 years. Loving father of Dr. Richard (Pamela), Ronald, Raymond (Allison) and Robert (Cheryl). Caring grandfather of Tyler, Kristen Hancock (Trey), Catherine Bolin (Cameron) and Alexa. Great-Grandfather to Reagan. Cherished brother of Walter (Dorothy) (both deceased), Charles (Margrette) (both deceased), Joseph (Sarah, deceased), William (Janice) and Robert (Coletta).
Ed was born September 30, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to Arthur and Margaret Weisbarth. He was a devout member of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church in Fairview Park and was involved in many church activities, including being a lector for many years. He also enjoyed visiting the casino, watching the Cleveland Indians, polka dancing, playing bingo, gardening, and playing cards such as Bridge and Pinochle.
The family will receive friends at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126 on Monday, March 2 between 3 and 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Angela Merici Catholic Church, 20970 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126 on Tuesday, March 3 at 10 am. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
