It is with regrets that I cannot attend todays services. My family was close to your grandparents (Trossens) knowing them in Chicago and Cleveland. My father James Sr. lived with your grand- parents in Cleveland and watched your mother grow up. When my dad got married, they (Ken and Nellie) became close friends of your mom, aunt and uncle. They would do a lot of things together. Your mom thought of my mom (Nellie) as an older sister. I have a picture of me at two with my mom and your mom and aunt at Edgewater beach. I also was in your parents wedding at six dressed in the Marine uniform at Lake Shore Hotel. My sister (Eileen) and I have some fond memories of your family and regret that we did not keep in touch. please offer our condolences to your family. JIM KENNEDY

As a young girl, I remember Eileen & Bud’s wedding. They were a dream couple - she so beautiful and he so handsome and so in love. They were a fairy tale come true!
He was a US Marine and I can still see the stack of letters from him that she kept - wrapped in ribbon. It was truly a marriage made in heaven. I loved them both so much. Xoxo Eileen

Dear Maynard Family,

I feel so blessed to have known your mom. To me, she was a saint. Just the sweetest and coolest mom you could ever want. My memories include her cheering us on during our little league games at Clague park and providing cookies and milk after John and I played basketball in her driveway during our St. Bernadette years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of loss. Much love, Gary Bielek & Family.

Aunt Eileen was my favorite Aunt, I admired how she was with her children, I never heard her raise her voice to them. She also started me on my reading journey when she gave me a Christmas present of 3 books of Heidi . I am a avid reader to this day. My memories of her are all ways wonderfull ones. May she rest in peace in Gods arms.

My favorite memory of Mom Maynard was several years ago when I was introduced to her. I said to her, "I love your sons and your daughter." She said in response. "I love them too."
