James Matthew Herholz

He was born in Petersburg, Virginia, the beloved son of Paul R. Herholz Jr. and the late Cecily-Anne Long (nee Carroll). Jim is the loving brother Paul Michael (Linda), Mark (Diana) and Peter; dear uncle of Justin and Daniel Herholz; adored nephew, cousin, and friend of many. Also survived by his beloved dog, Sam.

He found joy in simple pleasures—fishing by the water's edge and spending weekends riding dirt bikes with friends. Whether casting a line or racing through trails, he cherished being outside and living life to the fullest. Jim had a deep love for music and spent time as a singer in a local band, sharing his passion and talent with the community.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 2PM-6PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral home, 20820 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio.
