

A proud veteran of the Vietnam War, John served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He carried that pride throughout his life, with a deep respect for history and a thoughtful appreciation of those who came before.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rita Marie Jarrett (née Stuewe), with whom he shared a loving marriage built on mutual respect and companionship. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Hazel Jarrett, his brother Larry Jarrett, and his sister Sue Haubner.
He is survived by his sons Paul (Gretchen) Jarrett and Mark (Christine) Jarrett; his grandchildren Alex, Parker, Elaina, and Andrew; and his sister Joanne Doyle.
John will be remembered for his devotion to family, his enduring love for his wife, his pride in his service, and his appreciation for the past. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Private military service honoring John’s life and his service in the United States Air Force will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
