He was born in Cleveland, the son of the late Joseph and Coletta (nee Stafford) Hildebrandt. He was the loving father of Jeffrey (Jennifer) and Heather (Kenneth) Becker; cherished grandfather of Jeffrey Jr., Caroline, Savannah, Kyle and Ryan; dear brother of Carolyn, William (deceased) and David; adored uncle of many.
He dedicated 39 years of his life to Ford Motor Company and carried a lifelong passion for cars. He loved being on the water, whether it was Lake Erie or the ocean, and enjoyed many cruises throughout the years. A loyal fan, he followed Notre Dame and Purdue football faithfully. He cherished time spent with his friends and family, often over good conversation and adult beverages, and most of all treasured being with his family and grandchildren, who brought him his greatest joy.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 4PM-8PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM at St. Angela Merici Church, 20970 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park. Committal services will follow at Lakewood Park Cemetery in Rocky River.
