Kevin Joseph McLaughlin

Kevin J. "Mugsy" McLaughlin age 73, passed away peacefully at home on June 22, 2026, after a courageous fight with cancer. Beloved husband of 46 years to Sandi (Svedek/Pavlik); loving stepdad to Kimberly Pavlik and Michael Pavlik; proud grandpa of Austin Taylor Leonard and Kaitlyn and Gabriella Pavlik; loving father-in-law to Christina Young; son of the late John and Margaret (Semmens); brother of John (Susan), Maura (Rob Kippen), Patrick (Kim), James, Peggy (Milligan), Joseph and the late, Thomas, Kathleen, and Michael; uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews; cousin and dear friend of many.

Kevin graduated from St. Edward High School in 1970. He was a retired Millwright and proud member of Millwright-Pile Driver Local #1090. Kevin loved his family, his friends and his neighbors on West 210th Street. He enjoyed his home and his yard, parties with family and friends, fishing, classic cars and vacationing in The Keys every year. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him for his gentle spirit and kind heart. If you needed help with anything, he was there for you.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Come celebrate Mugsy’s life Monday, June 29, from 4-7pm in the Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, June 30, at 10am in St. Angela Merici Church, 20970 Lorain Rd. Interment Private.
