LEO LJUBIC, age 93, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026. Beloved and devoted husband of the late Pavica (nee Akrap); loving father of Ann Niklas (Timothy), Paula Kucinic (Mirko), and Leo Jr. (Johanna); Grandfather of Katarina Grandey (Logan), Anjelica Heiden (Nate), Jack Niklas (Grace Carlson) and Grace Niklas. Great-Grandfather of Mila Grandey. Brother of the late Ivan, Grgo, Ivica, and Anica of Croatia.
Leo “The Carpet Man” was the sole proprietor of Leo’s Carpet in Rocky River. After his retirement, he spent many hours helping his son Leo with his carpet cleaning business, tending his figs, and fixing anything that did or didn’t need fixing.
Funeral Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11 AM in St. Paul Croation Catholic Church, 1369 East 40th St, Cleveland.
The family will receive friends at the Church from 10am until time of Mass at 11am. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon.
