OBITUARY

Lucian Emil Karaba

April 24, 1969August 8, 2018

Lucian Karaba, age 49, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 8, 2018. Devoted husband of Lucica Karaba, and beloved father of Tristan Karaba, whom he loved so dearly and was so proud of; beloved son of Ioan and Aranka Karaba; beloved brother of Otilia, John (married to Daniela), Angelica, and Christian (deceased); beloved uncle of Bianca, Nadia, Joshua, and Ava; beloved uncle of Kayla and Jayden, dear brother-in-law, nephew, cousin, and friend of many. Lucian meant so much to all of us and we will miss him greatly. Now that his journey on this earth has ended we look back at a life lived with honor, integrity, kindness and forgiveness towards others. Though his final year was marked by much pain and suffering, he found renewed strength in his faith, found peace and comfort in the Lord and was a light and inspiration for Tristan, his beloved son, and all those who were by his side. While our hearts are broken with grief and great sadness over this loss, we take great comfort in the fact that he is now at peace in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and that one day we will see him again in eternity. According to his final wishes, he will be laid to rest next to his beloved brother Christian Karaba, who passed away a year earlier after a long battle with muscular dystrophy. Visitation on Sunday, August 12th, 2018 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home 20820 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44136 where services will be 5 - 6:30PM. To my dearest friend Lucian. U were the best employer that I've had in my entire trucking career. We've shared many deep conversations, laughs and disagreements. U were the most patient and the most forgiving and the most giving and the most humble man that I have ever met, you never thought of yourself above any one of us as your employees. You had always helped when you could and went above and beyond to take care of us. Over the years you and I had become close and shared our life story to one another. We've grown to understand and have a greater respect for one another. I can go on and on about how super great of a guy you were but in closing, I just want to say I love you and you will truly be missed my friend. The impact that you have made on not only myself but my family will be forever felt. In this time of grief I'm comforted by the the fact I was able to hug you and tell you that I love you. Not knowing that was the last time that I'll ever see you in the flesh. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING Lucian. May you REST IN PARADISE. Until we meet again my friend. No more pain.
