I met Mike through his work with the Eucharistic Ministers for the home bound. He was always willing to step in when someone was unable to visit their assigned parishioners. He was a kind and faithful man. The St Angela community will miss him.

I met Mike when our daughter and son-in-law law became neighbors moving in next door to the Sweeney’s several years ago. I only had to say my name Conway and Mike was off and running.... discovering “ the connection”. Conway/Sweeney there was bound to be ... and Mike just kept asking questions until we indeed established our connection! Mike’s family in Ireland lived next door to my grandmother’s family the Joyce’s in beloved Mayo. Mike remembers visiting my grandmother in Cleveland many years ago. And now Mike was neighbors with Grandma’s great granddaughter. A perfect match!
I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was so devoted to his faith and family. He was my mentor in becoming a Eucharistic minister at O’Neill nursing home. He loved our grandchildren and they loved him in return. A quiet and faithful follower of Jesus. I will miss our driveway chats. Holding all of you in prayer. Mary Ann Conway

A tremendously strong man of faith, family, and Irish pride. Our community was blessed to witness his example of Eucharistic devotion and care for the homebound. Prayerful regards to his loving wife and devoted family. Thank God for open and honest people like Mike who worked hard at every aspect of his life. With a twinkle in his eye he was a gift to so many.
