I remember Paul when he worked at International Paper at the Androscoggin Mill in Jay, Maine. I worked in the office and he sometimes came in for some information. He was always very friendly. I also remember his son , David. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God richly bless you and your family.

Paul was a special person. In my 30+ years of supporting the needs of customers in the paper industry Paul remained one of a handful of persons that I continued to stay in touch with after retirement- we both seemed to agree that our personal relationship should transcend our long and mutually successful business relationship. What I remember most were our conversations about family and his overall positive 'can do' attitude towards overcoming the challenges in life.  I always considered Paul as someone that was quietly innovative. He was always open to reinventing himself and to doing what was needed to address the challenges he encountered. No where was this seen stronger than in his efforts to advocate for Sherry's' medical treatments. During the time he was comforting Sherry we would speak a few times a month. His dedication to her was amazing. I know that his selfless efforts to research medical treatments improved her quality of life. Witnessing his dedication to his wife provided me with a life lesson on what it means to be a great husband. After Sherry's passing our conversation turned to what he needed to do to move closer to David and his family. He was a great example of what it takes to be a great husband and dad. I am happy to have been able to call him a friend. My condolences to the family as they reflect on this loss during the holidays.

Paul was my roommate for our junior and senior years at Miami.  He was relentlessly upbeat about everything during our time together and a good companion in academic or other activities. I often think of his clever witticisms with which he was endlessly entertaining all of us.

My sympathies to the family. Paul was a classmate of mine and in our yourth he was a fine catcher on the baseball team. I remember his father helping and coaching us in baseball.
