William Edward Rannells

WILLIAM EDWARD RANNELLS, age 83, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026. Beloved husband of Sherian K (nee Bryant); loving father of Donald E. (Michele) and Cheri A. Burns (Joseph); grandfather of William Burns, Joseph Rannells, and Bryant Burns; companion of his last dog, Gemma.

Bill was a U.S. Army veteran serving between the Korea and Vietnam wars. Bill retired as a pipe fitter from Union Carbide/General Electric after 37 ½ years. Bill was a founding member of the Northeast Ohio Buick Club of America. Bill loved tinkering with cars and had a huge affection for his dogs.

Graveside service at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273, Thursday, August 20, at 11:15am.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be forwarded to Cleveland Clinic Hospice or the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
