Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Peter Francis and Albertine (Banville) Donovan, she resided in Fall River all her life.
She was employed at the former Truesdale Hospital and prior to her retirement she also worked at St. Anne’s Hospital until 1993. Mrs. Gaspar was a communicant of St. Mary’s Cathedral and a member of the St. Mary’s Seniors.
She is survived by one brother Francis Donovan of Fort Myers, FL; longtime companion of the late Frank Drohan and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 9:30am from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by her funeral mass at 11am in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Spring St., Fall River. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30am prior to her mass. Flowers welcome or memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
