Ann Marie Golen

Although she was born with Down Syndrome, she attended and graduated from Nazareth Hall and did outreach work under the supervision of People Incorporated. In later years Ann Marie lived with her caregiver/friend Madeline Matthews and recently moved to a group home run by Life Stream on Hinchey Lane.

She leaves behind her brothers, Richard and James and sister-in-law Elaine Golen; a nephew, Ricky Golen; and nieces, Kathy Benevides and Donna Calis and their children.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 9:00 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited.
