Born in Fall River, son of the late Onesiphore and Marie Louise (Croteau) Deslauriers he was a lifelong resident of the city. A Navy veteran, he served during World War II and was a member of the Swansea American Legion Post #303.
He worked for the former Firestone Tire and Rubber for 29 years and later worked as a custodian at Bristol Community College, retiring in 1987.
Surviving: two daughters: Paula A. Dube and husband Armand of Swansea and Carol Mesler and husband Craig of Fall River, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Gerald Deslauriers, Zerila Cantara and Cecile Booth.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 8:30 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River with a funeral mass at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Church, 951 Stafford Rd., Fall River. Visiting hours Tuesday 4PM - 7 PM, Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
