Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late George and Margaret (Mullins) Hill, she was a lifelong area resident and a communicant of St. Christopher's Church.
A graduate of the former Sacred Hearts Academy, Class of 1952, Barbara then went on to work as an operator at New England Telephone in Fall River from 1952 to 1966, before retiring to become a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time working on her garden flowers, bird watching, sudoku and crossword puzzles. Barbara became a Red Sox fan back in the 1940’s and would take the train to see the home games.
She is survived by two sons, Matthew Moran and Brian Moran of Tiverton: nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the sister of the late M. June Falvo, George Hill, Jr., James Hill, and John Hill.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 10 a.m. in St. Christopher's Church, 1554 Main Rd. Tiverton, RI. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton.
