

Beth Ann Ainsworth, age 62, of Fall River, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 12, 2025, at her residence. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Raymond W. Ainsworth, Jr. and Lillian C. (Mancini) Ainsworth, she was a lifelong resident of the city.
A graduate of Nazareth Hall in 1985, Beth was a member of the Girl Scouts, Nazareth Bowling League, and Special Olympics, earning many medals for swimming. She loved reading and libraries, art, listening to music, knitting and needlework. Beth attended Camp Jabberwocky on Martha’s Vineyard for over 40 years, where she made many lifelong friends and discovered her love for performing on stage. Beth loved traveling to Martha’s Vineyard to visit friends and work at Chilmark Chocolates.
As a member of People Incorporated, she was involved in their vocational program and community work program, including taking art and music classes at the Narrows Center for The Arts. She received loving and compassionate care from the P.I. staff in the residential program, as well as the Hospice staff.
Beth had a special gift for making connections with people and bringing joy, friendship and laughter to others. She was loved and cherished by all who were privileged to know her.
She is survived by one brother, Michael Ainsworth and his wife Donna of Southington, CT; one sister, Leslie Ainsworth of Tiverton, RI; two nephews, Matthew Ainsworth and his wife Nora, and John Ainsworth; one niece, Alison Ainsworth and her husband Eric Vasko and great-nieces and nephews, Bradley, Natalie, Weston and Owen.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 10:30AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held prior to her service from 9:30 to 10:30AM. Contributions in her honor may be made to Camp Jabberwocky, P.O. Box 1357, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568, or online. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
