for 35 years. He was the former husband of the late Patricia Dion.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Solomon and Evangeline (Machado) Viveiros, he lived in Somerset for over 35 years and was a member of the its Lions Club for over 20 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife: 2 daughters: Connie Pacheco of Westport, Rebecca Taber of Swansea, 2 sons: Michael Duponte Viveiros, Sr. of Somerset and John D. Viveiros of Tiverton, brothers: Patrick, H. Russell, James and Thomas Viveiros and Rita Ann Broom, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was father of the late Kathleen Viveiros.
His Prayer Service will be held Monday June 20, 2011 at 4:00 PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Visiting hours will follow his service from 4:30 -7:00 PM
