Cynthia “Cindy” Crofton, 51, of Fall River, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Francis “Frank” L. Crofton and the late Dolores M. (Ponte) Crofton.
Cindy attended B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1989. She was employed by People Incorporated for over thirty years, working in a variety of positions. She was also a former communicant at St. William’s Church.
Cindy enjoyed swimming, dancing, dining out and especially loved spending time with family and friends. She also had a love of dogs.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her siblings, Donna Lynn Read and her husband David of Tiverton, Colleen C. Considine and her husband Gary of Westport, Eric R. Crofton and his wife Christine of Dartmouth, Frank Crofton and his wife Cheryl of Dartmouth and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also the sister of the late Paul and Scott Crofton.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cindy’s second family at People Incorporated. She built lasting friendships with the residents & staff and received the utmost love, kindness and compassion from her caretakers for the past fourteen years.
Her Funeral will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River, followed by her funeral mass at 10:00 AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River, MA. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to People Inc., 4 South Main St., Fall River, MA 02721

Not sure if you remember me from Aetna but my son Bobby attended People Inc. with Cindy. I am so sorry about your loss. Bobby talked about Cindy quite a lot. May she rest in peace.
