David was born when I was 12 years old. As soon as he could sleep through the night, my parents put his crib in my room. He was the cutest and sweetest baby! I never remember him being fussy or ill-tempered; he was just a sweet, loving little boy. Through all of the adversity he faced in his life, that sweet spirit remained, as evidenced by the legions of mourners who came to return to Dave, the love he gave to them.

My best friend. He helped me with everything from dealing with some family members, to terminal illness and the loss of my grandfather.
There will never be another. The world is a darker place without him.
I could always go to him for help with anything and he never judged, just listened and helped where he could.
I will love and miss him forever.

Rest in peace my friend. I will fondly remember taking you for your first ATV ride down back to the river, to see the campsite. I will miss not getting to hang out and go camping as we had planned to do.
I will miss your gentle soul, and the love you showed the world.
May all who knew you have comfort knowing that you are no longer burdened with the struggles of this life, and have entered into a peaceful eternity.
