

Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Walter and Alberta (Rock) Broadbent, he spent his youth in Dartmouth, lived in Acushnet for many years and was a resident of Westport for the last thirty years.
A graduate of Dartmouth High School, he received his bachelor’s degree from the Swain School of Design. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a SP4.
A talented Artist, he was an auctioneer and antique dealer for many years. He was a member of the Westport Art Group. He had a true eye for art and could create anything he envisioned on a canvas.

In addition to his partner, he is survived by two grandchildren. He was the husband of the late Cynthia Daley Broadbent, father of the late Holly Broadbent, Rebecca Pounds and brother of the late Carleen Inggaroza.
His visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM in the Waring Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. To honor Dennis’s artistic talents, please come dressed in bright and vibrant colors. Burial private.
