

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Richard F. and Catherine (Cyr) Kerrigan, she was a lifelong resident of the city and a graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy.
Dorothy, was employed with the City of Fall River for over 40 years, working in the Council on Aging and the Nutrition Program. She was a longtime member of the Irish Heritage Association of Greater Fall River, The Corky Row Club, The Elks and the Fall River Garden Club.
She is survived by two sons, David Biltcliffe and his wife Mary of Westport Point and G. Stephen Biltcliffe of Fall River; five grandchildren Joshua (wife Kate), Matthew, Mark (wife Sarah), Samantha (husband Farbrice) and Sarah (husband Alex); great grandchildren Ava, Finn, Kianna, Ellie, Willa, Daniel, Tom, McKenna and Francesca; a sister Gail Carey of Swansea and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Maureen Angelini, Joan Vermette and Michael R. Kerrigan.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 9am from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Fall River. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7pm in the funeral home.
