I have learned with great sadness of Sr. Dorothy's death. She was my first supervisor when I started to train as a supervisor in Clinical Pastoral Education at Interfaith in Providence R.I. She inspired me to trust my self and my gifts and believed that I could be a good supervisor. She was creative, insightful and genuine in her approach to Pastoral Education. Her perceptions were spot on. Dorothy helped so many students to grow as persons and enabled them to develop the skills of ministry. May she rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to Sisters and family. I shall always be grateful to Sister Dorothy for accepting me into the summer of'94 CPE program at Interfaith in Providence. She affirmed my potential call to chaplaincy and my gifts. I shall never forget the interview and the wonderful summer of learning and personal growth because of the opportunity she provided.

I have just now learned of Sr.Dorothy's death and am greatly saddened. She and Bill Nisi were my two supervisors in Providence in 1986-87 and I came to greatly respect their skill and caring.More than that,I came to love them.
Her friend Sr. Mary Delaney taught me in Halifax Nova Scotia and her recommendation guided me to Bill and Dorothy.
Having a caring and skilled supervisor is critical to the learning process and I shall always thank God for both Bill and Dorothy.

I add my gratitude for Sr. Dorothy's guidance, tough challenges and ultimately deep support for the early part of my CPE journey. She changed me and my theology in ways both powerful and positive. I imagine there are many of us out there who were so positively challenged! Keep dancing and laughing , Sr. Dorothy

She was my CPE instructor at St. Anne's....a great lady with exceptional God given gifts that she used very well. My ministry today would not be the same without her influence. One of her favorite lines was that "everyone was entitled to her opinion." The world is a better place for the opinions that she shared...
