Eileen P. Rafferty

Eileen Patricia (McNally) Rafferty, age 93, of Westport, departed this life on December 19th after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas Rafferty. Eileen was born March 11, 1929 to Mary (Nora Mae) and Frederick McNally in Fall River, Mass. She graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy in 1947, and from Thibodeaux Business School in 1948. She was employed at the Naval Hospital in Newport RI for 20 years, and volunteered at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River. An avid photographer who loved animals, Eileen enjoyed travel, golf, the Red Sox, spending time with family and friends, and reading the Boston Globe with her husband Tom. They regularly attended St. George Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and was the sister of the late Marilyn Duby. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 13th at 11:00AM at St George Church, 12 Highland Avenue, Westport. Relatives and friends invited. Burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Fall River.
