Elizabeth M. Pickering

Elizabeth M. "Betty" (St. Laurent) Pickering age 75 of Fall River, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 in Crawford Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Roger W. Belisle Sr. and Richard Pickering.

Born in Tiverton, a daughter of the late Omer J. St. Laurent, Sr. and Helen F. (Walker) St. Laurent, she was a lifelong area resident. She attended school in Tiverton, was a CNA at Highland Manor and Catholic Memorial Home for more than twenty years, retiring in 1995. Betty was extremely active in the Salvation Army.

Betty is survived by three sons, Roger W. Belisle and his wife Marie, John P. Belisle and his companion Lisa Mullen and James C. Belisle and his companion Crystal Bouchard; a brother, Omer J. St. Laurent Jr. and a sister, Helen Dunton of Tiverton; six grandchildren, thirteen great grand-children and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Michael R. Belisle, and sister of the late Ernest and John St. Laurent and Ethel Medeiros.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 10:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River. Visitation prior from 9:00 to 10:00AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. For tributes and online registration:

My deepest condolences to all of you...I remember many days as we were kids growing up in Pleasant View together and thank you Roger for all you did for
Me when Heather was born and growing up. I am sorry I am unable to be there as I have my grandkids on Tuesday and Thursday but I will be there in heart. Big hugs and may she RIP she is flying with the angels now ❤❤
