Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Patrick and Elizabeth (Horan) Gallery, she had been a lifelong resident of the city.
She was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and worked at the former New England Telephone Company now Verizon for 40 years retiring as Supervisor. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and quilting.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Joseph H. Savoie and sister of the late Mabel Reinerio, Rita Vargas, Dr. Daniel, James, Thomas, Kathleen, Joseph, and Francis Gallery.
Family will receive friends in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River, Monday, October 18, 2010 from 8:30 to 9:30AM prior to her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Linden St., Fall River. Contributions in her honor may be made to Adams House, 1168 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA 02720. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
