Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Eugene M. Pepi and Theresa (Palumbo) Pepi.
Prior to moving to Westport, she resided in Norwell for many years.
Eugenia was a graduate of North High School in Worcester, and received both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Worcester State College.
She taught for over thirty years, first in Boylston and then Norwell, and continued her love of teaching in retirement as a docent at the New Bedford Whaling Museum.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Costigan and her husband Thomas of Franklin Lakes, NJ, and Margaret McLaughlin and her husband Richard of Springvale, ME; a granddaughter, Margo Costigan; her siblings, Judith (Francis) Foley of Wells, Maine, Joanne (Robert) Foley of West Boylston, James (Julie) Pepi of Worcester, and John (Joyce) Pepi of Worcester; and many beloved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:00AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River, MA 02720. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation Sunday from 2:00PM to 5:00PM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
