Born in France, she was the daughter of the late Max R. Daugherty and Jacqueline (Roy) Jenkins. A Veteran of the United States Air Force, she went onto a career as a Veterinarian Assistant.
A lover of gardening and all animals, she especially enjoyed giving care to cats and dogs from shelters and fostering them. She was an extremely talented seamstress and took joy in making her daughters clothing and dresses for special events.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her three daughters, Heather Brabant of Swansea, MA, Lisa Schmick and her husband George of Oakhill, VA, and Laura Williams of Lebanon, OR; two grandchildren, George B. Schmick IV and Alexander J. Schmick; and three beloved pets, Merlin, Squeaky, and Bug. She was predeceased by her Step-father Burnie Jenkins.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 at 5:00PM, in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation will be held prior from 3:00-5:00pm. Burial Private.
