Dear family members,
I am so saddened to hear about the passing of George. I worked with him at Rockland Trust for several years and was honored to know him. He was such a positive person and so welcoming and hardworking. He will be missed. I hope he enjoyed his retirement in Florida as I remember him looking so forward to it. He was truly a patriot and a great man.

I met George 35 years ago when we were working together on a project at Middleborough Trust Company. Within a day of meeting him, four of us flew to Florida for a business trip regarding a software conversion. George was always the gentlemen and we clicked immediately. He always had a smile on his face and was so easy to talk to. We became friends and worked together for many years. Once I learned how both he and Gail parented so many wonderful children, I knew he was bound for heaven at that point. I was so sad when I heard he was sick and very sad when I heard he had passed. I have never known anyone as kind and considerate as George. My heartfelt condolences to all. He will be missed by many. Love, Rose-Mary
