

Born in Fall River, Rocky was the son of the late Albert and Aurore (Petit) Rocheleau. He was a proud graduate of Monsignor Prevost High School and went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Navy for 25 years, achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
Following his military service, Rocky dedicated over 37 years as Chief Disbursement Officer at the Navy base in Newport and the Naval Air Station in South Weymouth. After retirement, he continued serving his community as Head Proctor at Roger Williams University for 14 years.
A passionate sportsman, Rocky enjoyed golfing and bowling in his free time.
He is survived by his five beloved children: Gary Rocheleau and his wife Caroline of Dartmouth; Randy Rocheleau of Westport; Cheryl Provencal and her husband Philip of Grafton, MA; Karen Moniz and her husband Michael of Fall River; and Kristen Santos and her husband Robert of Westport. He also leaves behind his cherished sister, Constance Furtado and her husband Tony of Naples, FL; brothers Ronald Rocheleau and his wife Maria of Clermont, FL; and Albert “Al” Rocheleau and his wife Georgette of Henderson, NV.
Rocky was the proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Friday, August 15, 2025, at 9:30 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. George Church, 12 Highland Avenue, Westport. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial will be private.
