

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Moses and Christabell (Goss) Graham.
Gladys worked as a Bank Teller for numerous companies throughout her career, including Fleet Bank (formerly Industrial National Bank), Bank of America and Citizen’s.
Known lovingly as “Auntie Gladys” and “Nanee”, Gladys loved her family more than anything and would go to extensive lengths to help them however she could. Always putting God first, she was extremely active in her church community at Bethel AME in Fall River. Gladys also enjoyed cooking, time spent in Cape Cod where she had a timeshare and was a former representative for Avon and Prince’s House.
Gladys is survived by one son, Robert L. Edmonds, Jr. of Riverside; one grandson, Evan Edmonds of Fall River as well as four great-grandchildren, Emani, Nazirah, Luciano and Carter. Gladys was the sister of Carl, Vincent, Frederick, Mildred “Sister”, William, Henry, Mark, Eleanor, Barbara and Dorothy Graham, Moses Graham, Jr. and Louise Graham Worley. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Marion Goss and paternal grandmother, Eleanor Graham.
Her Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in Bethel AME Church, 146 Hanover St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gladys’ honor may be made to Bethel AME Church. Burial in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
