Helen A. Greene

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Czekalski) Sikora, she has been a lifelong resident of the city.

A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1955, she worked as a bookkeeper at Fall River Florist Supply for many years. Prior to that, she worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company.

She was a communicant of Holy Name Church. Mrs. Greene enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods Resorts and Casinos and made several great friends during these expeditions. Her favorite times spent were with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Michael R. Greene of Fall River, Stephen A. Greene and his wife Diane of Somerset; four grandchildren, Ryan Greene and his wife Jessie, Kyle Greene, Jason Greene and his wife Heather, and Ashley Greene; six great grandchildren, Brynne, Morgan, Grace, Jack, Garrett and Ben Greene, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Sikora and Ruth Chieglis.

Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 10:00AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Visitation will be held prior to her Mass from 8:30 to 9:30AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited.
