Helene L. Peck, age 66, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Cecile and Phyllis A. (Deveney) Peck, she was a lifelong resident of the city.
She earned her associate's degree from Bristol Community College, her bachelor's degree from UMass Dartmouth, and her master's degree in education from Boston University. Helene worked as the Education Director at the John E. Boyd Center for many years and was very close to Sister Kathleen Harrington.
She cherished her mother, her sister Anne-Marie, and her many dear friends, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
She was the sister and best friend of the late Anne-Marie Peck, granddaughter of the late John and Helena Deveney and niece of the late Mary Deveney.
Her Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
