Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Daniel J. and Helen A. (Davis) Harvey, she spent her youth in Cranston and lived in Fall River before settling in Westport in 1969.
A graduate of Cranston East High School, she worked as an executive secretary at both Hoyt Manufacturing and Teledyne Rodney Metals for many years before retiring in 1997.
Mrs. Roberts was devoted to caring for her family and dedicated much of her time to her grandchildren whom she adored. Generous and loving, she cherished conversations with loved ones and enjoyed going out with friends.
She is survived by three children, Thomas H. Roberts and his wife Shari of Pensacola, FL, Lynne A. Bisbano and her husband Donald of Rehoboth, Joanne M. Wood and her husband Walter of Westport; one sister, Margaret Arundel of East Greenwich, RI; eight grandchildren, Kyla Balistreri, Heidi DeVita, Adam, Katie, and Morgan Wood, Lauren, Kyle and Kara Bisbano; three great grandchildren, Viviana and Owen DeVita and Savannah Balistreri and several nieces and nephews. She was the twin sister of the late Jean Justice.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 8:30AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. John the Baptist Church, 945 Main Rd., Westport. Visiting hours Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00PM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
