ADD A MEMORY
Hon. Robert Cornetta

September 29, 2021

It is with great sorrow that I have learned of the passing of probation officer Jayne Miller. Jayne’s service at Essex Superior Court was the essence of professionalism, expertise and compassion. During her years serving with the Massachusetts Trial Court, she consistently concentrated her attention on public safety, effective probationer supervision and rehabilitation. Her abilities within the court room in presenting probation cases before the court were certainly outstanding. She was a great credit to the court and will truly be missed. May I express my sincerest condolences to Jayne’s family at this time.
Respectfully,
Hon. Robert Cornetta (ret.)

Jayne was one of our best friends to point that we exchanged Christmas presents every year. I always got more grinches …she always went wild decorating, huge grinch city, and thought I should have one of my own. I do now and put it up every year because of Jayne.
Beautiful Christmas trees all over the house, outside of the house decorated for every holiday…what a delight to drive by her house all lite up for each holiday or season. She was as her sister Pamela said, a beautiful, kind, selfless person, never saying a negative word about anyone! She adored her family, her husband Ron, and her many friends, and would go out of her way to do anything for you! We will always think of her with love and miss her everyday…..goodbye beautiful angel 🙏

I still cannot believe Jayne is not (physically) with us. I am so deeply sorry that you are all experiencing such a devastating loss. I LOVED that Jayne was unapologetically herself and had such a deep love for dogs, her family, and Tab. Jayne could always be counted on to bring a smile to your face and make you laugh. She will be missed by all that knew her. I cannot imagine what you are all feeling but please know how much we love you and are holding you all in our thoughts.

I was stunned when I heard the news of Jayne's passing. We have known each other since childhood and recently reconnected after many years through Facebook.
My sincere condolences to her husband Ron, mother Clare, sister Pamela and all of her family. A great loss, indeed.
