Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Louis J. and Irene (Rousselle) St Pierre, she had been a life-long resident of the city.
A talented seamstress, she had worked at many companies, including Trina for many years before retiring. An avid reader, she enjoyed crocheting and she loved all animals, especially cats and dogs. Known for being a quick-witted firecracker, Jeanne was kind, very generous, extremely thoughtful and was the absolute best mother and grandmother.
She is survived by: four children, Colleen Pacheco and her husband Robert of Fall River, Chris Duclos and his partner Jessica of Westport, Craig Duclos and his wife Robin of Virginia and Dawn Croteau and her husband Stephen of Fall River; thirteen grandchildren, Tara Miranda and her husband Jeff, Robert Duclos, Alyssa Croteau, Kayla Jean Duclos, Kayla Corrine Duclos, Corey Duclos, Stephen Croteau, Jr., Samantha Duclos, Colin Duclos, Cassidy Duclos and Chloe Duclos; seven great-grandchildren, Zachary, Ashley-Bella, Storm, Aria, Aiden, Ava and Gabriel and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Robert “Roy” Duclos and Donna Duclos; grandmother of the late Codey Duclos and sister of the late Marie “Bertha” Watts, Leo St. Pierre, Doris Desrosiers, Yvonne Goyette, Oliver, Norman “Pete”, Roger and Blanche St. Pierre, Cecile Goyette and Alice Therrien.
Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Visiting hours are from 8:00 – 10:00 AM prior to the service. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
