I just saw a post on Facebook that my cousin, John passed away. I am so deeply sorry and saddened for your great loss. I always remember how wonderful it was to grow up with my cousins. I miss you all so much. The last time I talked with John, was two years ago. I asked him about prices on auto parts, and he looked up everything to ensure I was getting the best price, as I am in Virginia. He was so kind and patient with me. He sounded like his dad, and I called Aunt Shirley to tell her how much I appreciated it. This made her very happy . I remember all our Christmas Eve's together, it's one of my favorite memories growing up with you all. John grew into a wonderful and hard working man, a great father and husband, brother, and son. I am so without words at this time. I will keep you all in my prayers.
I leave you with a verse that has helped me in times of my deepest sorrow:
" And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one."
John 10:28-30
John, may you rest in peace.
Your cousin, Ann

Many when we were kids come over the house on Saturday spend the day he was maybe 12 I was 9 . Running the Dimond track after work. Sad loss at such a young age. He was a successful businessman man and did it on his own with Bill Steve and Paul. Nothing handed to them. My sincere sorry goes to the whole Lacava family.

We were sorry to hear of Mr. LaCava's passing so unexpectedly. We are neighbors of the family and want to send our condolences to their family and friends. I remember him walking down our street with his baby girl granddaughter beaming all the way! He always had a wave and a smile for everyone. God Bless his family and give them strength to carry on. Until they meet again.
