L. Kenneth Donnelly

Born in Fall River, a son of the late Lawrence and Susan (Lake) Donnelly, he was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mr. Donnelly was owner operator of the former Hutchinson Art & Frame on Franklin St. which became Donnelly Painting and Decorating for over 50 years. He was a member of Fall River Rotary and Planning Board and on the Advisory Board for the Boys Scouts of America.

He is survived by his son Lawrence A. Donnelly of Centerport, NY, a step-daughter Patricia Kerrigan of Baltimore, MD, a brother Joseph T. Donnelly of Fall River, a sister Claire Tobia of NH, three grandchildren: Robin Smith, Stephen and David Donnelly, five great grandchildren: Amber, Heather, Danielle, Taylor and Ryan, two great-great grandchildren, Calleigh and Zachary, a step-grandchild Jane McBride. He was brother of the late John, Frank, and Steven Donnelly, Evelyn Gleason and Mary T. Grady and step-grandfather of the late Elizabeth.

His funeral will be held Wednesday September 19, 2012 at 8AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St. Fall River with a funeral mass at 9AM in Sacred Heart Church, Linden St. Fall River. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery Fall River.
