

Louis was born in Boston, MA on March 11, 1924 to the late Remo and Anna (Christadoro) Secatore. At a very young age, the family moved to Milton, MA and Louis graduated from Milton schools. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp in December 1942 and completed 34 sorties over Germany and the Balkans as a tail gunner in B24s before being discharged in October 1945.
Upon discharge from the Air Corp, he returned to the family clothing manufacturing business, Bell Garment Co., in Boston and was instrumental in moving the business to Fall River in the early 1960s. He subsequently opened Mill Towne from which he retired in 1986.
In 1947 he married his late wife Louise B. (Mahoney) Secatore, also of Milton. They lived the majority of their married life in Raynham, MA and enjoyed many summers at their home in Marion, MA. Louis was a member and past president of the Raynham Lions Club, Raynham Little League, and Edgewood Club and was a member of the Raynham Board of Appeals. He was also a member and past president of the Mutual Investment Society of New Bedford and in Fall River he was active as member and past president of the Marine Museum and Quequechan Club.
He is survived by 5 children: Janet A. Secatore of Brookline, Patricia L. Clarkson and her husband Robert of Mattapoisett, Irene M. Bhatti and her husband Ilyas of Canton, Richard L. Secatore and his wife Megan of West Roxbury and Mark J. Secatore and his wife Christine of Cartersville Georgia; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Robert and Edward and is survived by brother Walter and his wife Terry of Hanson, MA and sister-in-law Margaret (Mahoney) Kidder of Gloucester.
