

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Carl M. and Ursilla (Almy) Wilcox, she spent her youth in Tiverton before moving to Little Compton. She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1956, and URI, Class of 1960 where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Lucinda spent her entire career working for the US Postal Service in Tiverton.
Lucinda was an avid reader who was passionate about her animals. She enjoyed Genealogy and was a member of the Genealogical Society as well as the National Audubon Society. Lucinda often assisted her husband at Sakonnet Point on the long time family owned vessel: NASULUGA which has previously been owned by Lucinda’s father and grandfather.
Surviving is an aunt and numerous cousins.
Her Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 11, 2015 at 1 PM in the Amicable Congregational Church, 3804 Main Rd. Tiverton. Her family will greet friends in the church from 12:30 – 1:00 PM prior to her service. Burial will be private.
