

Born in Cambodia, a son of the late Mil and Dann Mok, he immigrated to the United States from Thailand in 1990.
He worked as a nurse in Thailand and as a farmer in both Cambodia and the United States.
An avid fisherman, with a contagious smile, Mike loved gardening and cooking, especially the large meal that was shared with his family every Sunday. A strong willed and kind-hearted man, family was the most important thing to him, but nothing could top the love he had for his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Yam Tum, he is survived by five children, Chonly Mal, Chandy Mal, Carlina Mal, Derek Mal and his wife Elizabeth Mal, and Darisa Mal. As well as his grandchildren, Malia, Kylani, Lilyana, Kingston, Ayvin, Layla, Princeton, Kameron and Malayna; a very close friend he considered a brother, Hou Sour and niece, Mub Khuch and her husband Ry Kroch. He was the brother of the late Hou Moeun and uncle of the late Lek Khuch.
Due to current restrictions on public gatherings, his funeral services will be private.
