

Mary L. Cunningham, age 90, passed away at Sarah Brayton Nursing Center on Sunday, October 19, 2014 and formerly resided at Borden East in Fall River. She was the daughter of the late James E. and Louise M. (Donovan) Cunningham.
She worked many years at the Fall River Knitting Mills retiring in 1989. She was a parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul of the Holy Cross Church now merged with St. Mary’s Cathedral. She was a member of the parish women’s club, the parish choir, and served as a Eucharistic minister. She was also a former member of Borden East Tenant Council.
She leaves behind one sister-in-law: Patricia H. Cunningham of Tiverton, three nephews: Bob Kelly and his wife Sue of Fall River, Matthew Cunningham and his wife Cori of Lakeville, Alan Kelly of FL, two nieces: Kathleen Allen and her husband Todd of Amherst, NH, Joan Cunningham of Brighton, MA, three grandnephews: Eric Kelly of Fall River, Sean and Quinn Cunningham of Lakeville, two grandnieces: Danielle Dupruis Allen and Alexander Allen of NH. She was sister of the late Dennis J. Cunningham, Edward F. Cunningham, and Clare Kelly and aunt of the late Edward Cunningham.
Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 8:30AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in Holy Cross Chapel, 47 Pulaski St., Fall River. Visiting hours prior to her Mass from 8:30 to 9:30AM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
