Mary E. (Duffy) Dunne, age 87, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Arcadia, CA. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Dunne, Sr. Born in Fall River a daughter of the late Frank E. and Margaret (Gaskill) Duffy she was a longtime resident of Long Beach, CA.
She is survived by one daughter, Christine Staskiewicz of Tiverton, six sons, Joseph Dunne, Jr. of NH, Ted Dunne of NH, Patrick Dunne of CT, Michael Dunne, Peter Dunne, and Stephen Dunne all of CA; one brother, James F. Duffy of Fall River, sister-in-law, Sister Davida Dunne, RSM; fifteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank E. Duffy.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 11:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to the Salve Regina University Alumni Association, 100 Ochre Point Avenue, Newport, RI 02840, re: Mary Duffy Dunne Class of 1953.
