

Mary L. Plasski, of Fall River, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Fred H. Plasski, whom she had been married to for 56 years until his death in 2010.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Henry and Nora (McHenry) Hindle, she was a lifelong city resident and attended school in Fall River.
Mrs. Plasski worked at Charlton Memorial Hospital in the Dietary Department for over 15 years, and Meals on Wheels for 10 years. In her earlier years, she was a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and taking long walks with her sister and daughter. She was a devout Catholic who attended mass daily at Holy Name Parish and Holy Rosary Parish when healthy.
Surviving are her five children, Colleen Hebda and her husband Bob, Mike Plasski and his wife Kathleen, Stephen Plasski, Jim Plasski and his wife Doreen, all of Fall River, and Virginia Plasski of New Bedford.
She was the beloved grandmother of six grandchildren: Christin Manchester and her husband Chaz, Peter Correia and his wife Andrea, Bethany Guimond and her husband Jameson, Julianne Ward and her husband Travis, Shannon Perkins and her husband Benjamin, and Mike Plasski. She was also the great-grandmother of six great-grandchildren: Jameson and Joelle Guimond, Kinsley Correia, Travis "TJ" Ward, Madelyn and Benjamin Perkins, and a nephew, Richard Hindle.
Mrs. Plasski's was the sister of the late Ambrose, Henry, Ruth, Grace, Richard, Carlton, and Eleanor Hindle.
Mary's family would like to thank the staff at the Catholic Memorial Home for their compassion and exceptional care.
